Within our Genuine Contact approach, mentoring is defined as "
encouraging service in the world based on truth and facilitating compassion, tolerance,
self-love, mutual respect, and joy.”
At present, there are five ways to participate in Genuine
Contact Mentoring Circles:
1. Anyone interested in learning more about the Genuine Contact program
and approach is invited to attend the annual Genuine Contact
Mentoring Circle in Virginia Beach, VA, USA, hosted by the founders of the Genuine
Contact Program, Birgitt Williams and Ward Williams. The meeting format for this annual
event is Whole Person Process Facilitation, an operating platform within which
participants also experience an Open Space Technology component.
All of which creates the right conditions for maximum participation and
the possibility of developing actionable items for the future.
2. GC Trainers (whether actively offering trainings or not) are
invited to attend the annual
International Trainers Mentoring Circle in Virginia Beach, VA, USA, hosted by the
founders of the Genuine Contact Program, Birgitt Williams and Ward Williams. The meeting
format for this annual event is Whole Person Process Facilitation, an operating platform
within which participants also experience an Open Space Technology component. All of
which creates the right conditions for maximum participation and the possibility of
developing actionable items for the future. Co-Owners of the Genuine Contact Program also
make key decisions regarding the development of the program at this meeting.
3. Attend a mentoring circle or mentoring conference in your
geographic area. Check out our calendar of events for
upcoming mentoring opportunities. If you cannot find an event scheduled in your area,
consider hosting a mentoring circle of your own. Be sure to
contact us and let us know the details of your event so that we can post it on our
International Events Calendar
4. Consider hosting an annual Genuine Contact Mentoring Circle
for the international community interested in mentoring as a way
to creating a better future. Again, please contact
us with the details of your event and we will post them on
this website.
5. Participate in the Harmony
Project.
