Profile:
Tyasto Marina Victorovna, formerly a sociologist and currently
head of the Department of International Relations at the Siberian
Academy for Public Administration, has fifteen years experience
in citizen diplomacy and cross-cultural communication, ten
years experience in gender conflict resolution, women's leadership
development, NGO management training, and participatory methods
of organization and community development. She is fluent in
Russian and English and has a basic knowledge of French.
Education
1995-1997 NGO Management Training of Trainers, seven weeks,
Johns Hopkins University Institute for Policy Studies, Baltimore,
MD, USA with follow-up sessions in Krinytsa Gorska, Poland,
Budapest, Hungary, Prague, Czech Republic, Bratislava, Slovakia.
Training included: networking, conflict resolution, mediation,
strategic planning, fund raising, and related topics.

including leadership, prevention of domestic violence, participation
in politics, economic independence and microcredit.
