Profile: Lars Steinberg is the founder of Genuin kontakt, a consulting company based about 25 minutes from the city of Oslo, Norway. Lars works with holistic approaches to organisational and personal success, as a management and organisational change consultant, coach, trainer and facilitator.
Since the beginning of 2001, Lars has served hundreds of organisations across Norway in their development of healthy, effective and inspiring work environments, leadership and teams, as well as in processes of conflict resolution. He has experience in facilitating group meetings with 3 to 420 participants and holding keynote speeches at local, regional and national conferences.
Lars was born in Berlin (Germany), grew up close to Hamburg, and moved to Norway as an international peace worker in the early 1990s. He studied social sciences at the University of Bergen (Norway) and political and cultural geography at the University of Oregon (USA). Lars prepared for his further journey with a European Diploma in Environmental Sciences, in cooperation between 9 universities in France, Luxemburg, Belgium and Germany. He began his work as a consultant in Germany in early 1997.
Lars has a passion for opening new doors and holding spaces where we continually learn and become more capable of participating in our unfolding future. Realizing that this capacity to participate in our unfolding has more to do with our being than what we do, Lars is committed to explore deeper territories of leadership by listening to what is wanting to emerge in one’s own life, in the organisation, and in the world and then developing the courage to do what is required.
